All prescriptions generated require GP authorisation
Patients should allow 48 hours for their request for repeat prescription medication to be processed. All repeat prescription requests must be received by the practice either in person or via delivery of the “B” side of the patient prescription or by writing your request on paper. Patients can place their written requests into the surgery post box outside of surgery opening hours or send by national postal system. You can also sign up at your local pharmacy for a repeat prescription service or if you prefer to remain in control sign up to our Online services [please ask at reception about this].
Repeat prescription requests are not taken over the telephone unless the patient is housebound or residing in a residential/nursing home.
